SL1 Men do it again in 2007

The State League 1 Men have claimed another Victorian title with a come from behind win against Footscray in the Grand Final. With a controlled display of quality water polo, and despite injuries to several players, the team was able to finish over the top of their opponents. this team continues to be the dominant force in Men\'s water polo in Victoria.

Also victorious on the night were the Junior Women who proved that they were the best team all year with a stron 9-5 win over Monash.

Other teams competitng on the night were the SL2 Women who were out to make it back to back titles. Unfortunately they endured a heartbreaking 5-4 loss late in the game. The Junior Men also played and despite a gutsy effort by a very young side were beaten by a strong Melbourne Collegians team.

Well done to all teams on a successful season.
